Data/ML Engineer (Python)

Job Description

Odette is hiring its first Data/ML Engineer to own the data science behind the platform. You'll turn large volumes of messy, multilingual open-source information into data that users can rely on.

Python is the core of this role. You'll build entity resolution, information extraction, and evaluation pipelines in Python, working hands-on with large language models. Responsibilities:

• Build entity resolution so the same people, places, and organizations are recognized across messy, multilingual sources
• Own the pipeline that turns open-source reporting into structured, connected data
• Design and evaluate models that measure information quality and reliability
• Build evaluation and testing that hold up against low-quality or adversarial inputs

Full-time. Hybrid (NC) or remote, East Coast-based.

Requirements

• US citizen able to obtain a security clearance (existing clearance a plus)
• East Coast-based
• Experience in entity resolution, information extraction, or NLP on messy real-world text
• Strong statistical and evaluation fundamentals
• Strong Python; hands-on experience with large language models
• OSINT, multilingual, or defense and intelligence data experience a strong plus
